So last week I introduced you the the Six Stages of Change, which every one of us goes through before we make that leap to a healthier lifestyle. Today I will be telling you about Stage Two; Contemplation.
Stage Two: Contemplation
So its the New Year, and you are not feeling your best? Maybe someone else has said something that made you feel negative, or you’re inundated with those celebrity ‘how I got my pre-baby body back’ posts on Instagram or in magazines. You know that it doesn’t matter what other people think, and you don’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. It is all about how you feel. Maybe you are low on energy, or feel uncomfortable in your skin. You start to think about how you could help yourself feel better – and your mind turns to exercise. This is Stage Two – the time when you are starting to contemplate the idea of making a lifestyle change. Big or small, that change will be the first step towards a healthier, happier you. And a healthier, happier Baby too!
It doesn’t have to be scary
