So here we are, at the end of our Six Stages of Change journey – I hope you’ve found it interesting to follow along and that you have found out a bit more about what we all go through when we are trying to make a lifestyle change.

Today we are going to be talking about the sixth and final stage – RELAPSE.

This stage might be familiar to many of you – its the moment when you step back or drop out of your new found fitness programme. It can happen for loads of reasons – maybe your pregnancy is causing you nausea or cramps. Or maybe life is just getting in the way, and your fitness programme is the first thing to go. We’ve all been there. Pregnancy and motherhood is hard – and its okay to admit that! As a new mum, you might be feeling overwhelmed by how much your little one needs looking after. Your thinking, if I can’t find time to shower, when can I possibly exercise?! Relapse can happen at any stage during the 6 Stages of Change, but don’t worry, because it can easily be turned around!
